Citizen Koch documentary kicks off the Kansas International Film Fest Friday, Oct. 4th @ 5:30PM

CitizenKochKIFFCitizen Koch is a documentary film about how corporate money effects politics in the U.S. Academy Award® nominated filmakers Charles Deal and Tia Lessin created this movie with a kickstarter crowd funding campaign because Public Television rescinded their $150,000 funding for the movie to avoid possible trouble with David Koch who is a board member at both WNET in New York and WGHB in Boston. Go see Citizen Koch at the Kansas International Film Festival this Friday at 5:30pm playing in the Glenwood Arts Theatre at 9575 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park, KS. This screening of the film is sponsored by Friends of Community Media, Jobs Now!, KC Move to Amend, and United Progressives of Kansas City.
